We're looking for a technically minded individual with strong communication skills who has a customer-focused approach; as the Technical Engineer, you will provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders, working across a variety of projects from initial consultation through to implementation and ongoing support. The successful candidate will act as a key technical contact for customers in Germany, supporting the installation, integration, and ongoing performance of advanced hardware and software solutions used within the public transport sector.Technical Engineer (German Speaking)Job Description

• Providing technical support to customers via telephone, email, and site visits.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Supporting the integration of onboard systems and associated software.
• Assisting with system installations, upgrades, and retrofits at customer sites.
• Working closely with customers, integrators, and internal engineering teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Creating and maintaining customer databases, documentation, and technical records.
• Delivering technical training to customers and colleagues.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
• Travelling regularly to Germany and occasionally internationally to support customers and projects.

Technical Engineer (German Speaking)Qualifications & Experience

• Fluent German and English language skills.
• Degree qualification (or equivalent experience) in Electronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Lua, or .NET.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Ethernet networks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel internationally.
