Introduction

As an IT Project Manager at our San Diego office, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple complex IT projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline. Your expertise in change management will be crucial in driving digital transformation initiatives and implementing new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners
• Implement change management processes to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new technologies
• Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in IT Project Management
• Proven track record of delivering multiple complex IT projects successfully
• Strong technical background with hands-on understanding of software development, cloud technologies, infrastructure, networking, databases, and system integrations
• Experience managing projects involving application development, cloud migration, ERP implementations, infrastructure modernization, or digital transformation initiatives
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Experience managing project budgets, resources, timelines, and vendor engagements

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP, Prince2)
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of change management principles and practices
