Job Description
We require a Mechanical Design Engineer with 5 years of experience with the below skills for our client in Bay Area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support design and development of BIW, Closures, Body Structure, and Trim components.
- Create and update CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs.
- Conduct package studies, tolerance analysis, and design feasibility assessments.
- Support prototype builds, engineering releases, and design change activities.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, CAE, Quality, and Supplier teams.
Skills Required:
- CATIA V5/V6 or NX.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design, body structures, closures, and joining technologies.
- Understanding of DFMEA, GD&T, APQP, and automotive launch processes.
- Experience in product development and engineering change management.
