The Opportunity

Exciting new opportunity to join one of the UK's leading independent insurance premium finance companies. They are seeking a Senior Capital Markets Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day funding and liquidity agenda, reporting directly to the Treasury Director. This is a hands-on, specialist role at the centre of the business's funding strategy — working closely with banks, institutional lenders and internal stakeholders to ensure the funding base keeps pace with the growth of the loan book.

The Treasury Director currently manages this function directly and is looking to hand over execution to a dedicated specialist, freeing up capacity to focus on broader funding strategy and stakeholder relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced capital markets or treasury professional to take real ownership of a core function within a well-established, scaling specialty lender.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day management of the Group's funding and liquidity position, ensuring facilities and headroom keep pace with origination growth

• Lead engagement with existing bank and institutional lending relationships, including facility reviews, covenant management, and drawdown/reporting cycles

• Support and help lead securitisation activity, including warehouse facility management, potential future issuance, and related investor and rating agency engagement

• Monitor and manage interest rate risk and funding cost exposure in line with the short-duration, rate-sensitive nature of the premium finance loan book

• Prepare funding and liquidity reporting and forecasting for the Treasury Director, CFO, and relevant governance committees

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing lenders while helping identify opportunities to diversify the funding base

• Support ad hoc funding-related projects, including refinancing activity and new product/asset class funding requirements

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrable experience in a capital markets, treasury, or securitisation-focused role within a bank, non-bank lender, or specialty finance business

• Hands-on experience with warehouse facilities and/or securitisation structures — asset-backed lending experience strongly preferred

• Confidence engaging directly with banks and institutional lenders, with strong relationship management skills

• Solid understanding of liquidity and interest rate risk management principles

• Comfortable operating as a specialist individual contributor, working closely with and reporting into a Treasury Director

• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate funding positions clearly for senior stakeholders

Why Apply

This role offers genuine ownership of the funding and liquidity agenda at a well-established specialty lender, with direct exposure to bank and capital markets relationships and a clear line of sight to the Treasury Director. It's a strong next step for a capital markets or treasury professional looking to broaden their remit within a growing, non-bank lending business.
