Role Overview
We are seeking a senior professional to support the implementation, administration, governance, and optimization of Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI-powered productivity solutions across the enterprise. This hands-on engineering role collaborates closely with IT, Security, Data Operations, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deploy and support Copilot capabilities within Microsoft 365. The selected candidate must ensure that implementations are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise governance, compliance, and Responsible AI standards. The position sits within the digital workplace team, partnering with Data, AI, and security teams to establish robust data classification and monitoring protocols.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Copilot readiness assessments and perform oversharing and permissions remediation.
• Configure Microsoft Purview controls, including Data Loss Prevention, Sensitivity Labels, Information Protection, and Compliance Manager.
• Develop usage and adoption reporting using Copilot Analytics, Viva Insights, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 administrative tools.
• Support Copilot Studio and automation initiatives to drive enterprise productivity.
• Partner with business stakeholders, legal, finance, and human resources to gather requirements and enable high-value AI use cases.
• Establish documentation, governance controls, and technical considerations for organizational change management and licensing.
• Provide post-implementation support and share technical tasks with the data team.
• Facilitate user adoption through training, prompt libraries, and scheduled office hours.

Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
Experience: Extensive experience in systems engineering, specifically focusing on Microsoft 365 suite integrations, dependencies, and deployment methodologies.
Technical Skills: Proven expertise with Microsoft 365 Copilot deployments, Microsoft Purview, SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, and Copilot Studio.
Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working on large-scale cloud enablement and adoption projects in the utilities or industrial sector.
• Strong familiarity with data classification, monitoring tools, and security compliance frameworks.
