Location: Union City, CA

Pay Rate: $27.00/hour + mileage reimbursement

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Looking for a hands-on laboratory support professional with inventory management experience? Join a fast-paced research environment where you'll play a critical role in laboratory operations, inventory control, procurement, and material management.

Job Duties

• Support scientists and research teams with daily laboratory operations


• Manage laboratory inventory, supplies, chemicals, gases, and materials


• Receive, store, distribute, and track inventory throughout the facility


• Conduct cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies


• Process purchase orders, procurement transactions, and invoice resolutions


• Coordinate equipment maintenance and vendor service visits


• Support tissue culture shipments and laboratory logistics


• Prepare shipping documentation and handle hazardous materials in compliance with regulations


• Analyze inventory data and maintain accurate records


• Communicate findings and recommendations to laboratory stakeholders

Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required


• 2+ years of inventory control, materials management, procurement, or laboratory operations experience


• Experience working in a laboratory, GMP, production, or regulated environment preferred


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel


• Experience with inventory management systems such as SAP or similar platforms


• Knowledge of SOPs, inventory control practices, and documentation processes


• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
