What You Will Be Doing As the Software Engineer Lead - Embedded you will be responsible for guiding the development of mission-critical embedded software across multiple programs. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Lead the design, development, and integration of C/C++ embedded applications. * Plan, coordinate, and execute software development activities and schedules. * Develop, document, test, and debug complex algorithms and logical solutions. * Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless system integration. * Identify and resolve program errors, produce operating instructions, and maintain comprehensive documentation. Basic Qualifications: • BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field • C++ 11 or higher • Embedded real-time software development • Hardware/Software integration & test • Linux OS • Experience leading a software development team through different phases of the software development life cycle • Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, must be a U.S. Citizen Desired Skills: - Embedded real-time software development for millisecond / microsecond response time systems - Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment - NVIDIA Development Kit experience - Multi-threading and multi-processing experience - Git and/or GitLab: configuration management / version control - Automated testing - CentOS 7.0 or higher - Jira - issue tracking - Publisher/subscriber protocols (preferably RTI DDS) - Python - Technical document development - Technical review presentation development and delivery - Agile development process Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
