Systems Engineer 3 with Security Clearance

Job Title: Systems Engineer 3 Location: San Diego, CA Duration: 12 months and possible extension Shift Time: 8am-5pm; 9/80A Schedule Clearance: Active Secret Pay Range: $80 - $100/hr W2 All inclusive Looking for an Engineer Systems 3 to support programs within our Connectivity and Network Solutions (CNS) Business Unit (BU). This position will serve on-site at San Diego, CA. Responsibilities Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications for Engineer Systems 3 5 Years with Bachelors in Science or 3 Years with Masters or 1 Year with PhD Preferred Qualifications for Engineer Systems 3 Basic qualifications plus: MBSE Experience RF Experience Waveform Knowledge Model-Based Systems Engineering MBSE
