QA Analyst

Location: 2-3 days per week onsite in Tempe, AZ

The QA Analyst is responsible for validating that software applications meet defined business, functional, and technical requirements before release. This role ensures that products are reliable, secure, and fit for purpose by executing structured testing, identifying defects, and enforcing quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects through resolution
• Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing
• Provide clear, reproducible defect documentation
• Enforce QA standards, test coverage, and release readiness criteria

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of experience testing enterprise software solutions.
• Experience using API testing tools (i.e., Postman, REST clients)
• Strong nice-to-have experience with SQL and data validation.
• Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Azure DevOps (or Atlassian Jira).
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills as required.
• Good understanding of Agile methodology including experience with Scrum methods and processes.
• Solid understanding of different testing methodologies (i.e., black-box, white-box, regression, smoke, UAT)
