Avanciers Incorporated is hiring a Principal Architect Engineer (Mobile) for one of our clients.

Role & Level: Remote contract position for a Principal Architect Engineer, requiring 12+ years of software engineering experience with significant tenure at the Staff/Principal level.

Dual Native & Cross-Platform Mobile Stack: Demands deep expertise in Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android, combined with experience in React Native or Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).

Domain Mandate: Hands-on experience in Retail and E-commerce is strictly required to handle high-scale, mobile-first consumer interactions.

 Mobile Platform Excellence: Responsible for mobile architecture patterns, offline-first application design, performance optimization, CI/CD pipelines, and release engineering.

 AI-Driven SDLC Leadership: Requires experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) and a mandate to define, scale, and govern AI-assisted development standards across teams.

 Distributed Systems Architecture: Involves designing and evolving large-scale backend interactions, including APIs, data pipelines, and event-driven architectures.

Cross-Organizational Influence: Calls for strong leadership to drive technical alignment, mentor senior engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and collaborate across distributed product, security, and infrastructure teams without direct formal authority.
