About the Role

As a Release Engineer, you will own CI/CD pipeline design, release automation, and infrastructure provisioning across a multirepo, multitenant environment. You will bridge the gap between application delivery and cloud infrastructure, utilizing Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Kubernetes as our primary orchestration standard to ensure repeatable, scalable, and traceably secure deployments.

What You Will Do

  • CI/CD & Kubernetes Orchestration: Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines optimized for deploying microservices to Kubernetes clusters.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage and automate environment provisioning and configuration using Terraform, ensuring consistent setups across dev, staging, and production.
  • Release & Config Management: Manage multi-tenant, multi-repo ecosystems (20 30+ GitHub repositories) with strict versioning, Helm charts, or Kustomize configurations.
  • Deployment Governance: Implement automated deployment workflows within Kubernetes (e.g., GitOps, progressive delivery, canary, or blue-green deployments) with automated rollback strategies, tagging, and auditability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with DevOps, Platform, and Software Engineering teams to standardize infrastructure modules and containerization best practices.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve complex pipeline failures, Terraform state conflicts, and Kubernetes deployment or ingress issues.

What We re Looking For

  • Deep Terraform Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience writing, modularizing, and managing state files for Terraform in production cloud environments (AWS preferred).
  • Strong Kubernetes Proficiency: Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture, resource management (deployments, services, ingresses), and hands-on experience deploying containerized applications.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Mastery: Extensive experience designing pipeline workflows in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Multi-Repo Management: Proven experience managing large, multi-tenant ecosystems with strict versioning, tagging, and release discipline.
  • Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go) to automate release tasks and glue tools together.
  • Detail-Oriented & Disciplined: A highly organized professional who prioritizes security, compliance, and zero-downtime deployment strategies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD or Flux).
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with Cursor or AI-assisted development tools.

Education:

  • Bachelors /master s degree Information Technology
