Sales & Applications Engineer - Actrol

Turn your refrigeration experience into influence through a technical career with one of Australia's leading HVAC-R suppliers.


Actrol is seeking an experienced refrigeration professional to join our National Sales & Application Engineering team. You'll work directly with customers, branches and suppliers to deliver practical solutions, technical support and grow capital equipment opportunities.


WHAT YOU'LL DO


In this role you'll help customers find the right refrigeration solution and accessories by bringing together technical knowledge, practical advice and a strong service mindset. You will also:


  • Complete heat-load calculations, equipment selections and quotations
  • Provide troubleshooting support across for diverse refrigeration applications
  • Assist with onsite commissioning and customer training
  • Build relationships with customers, branches, consultants and suppliers
  • Identify project and capital equipment opportunities
  • Stay current with refrigeration technology, refrigerants and industry trends

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR


Someone who has strong commercial refrigeration knowledge and practical experience, along with:


  • A refrigeration trade qualification or relevant engineering background
  • Confidence with equipment selection, system application and fault-finding
  • Strong communication, customer service and commercial awareness
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach and confidence with digital tools
