Manager, Financial Accounting

Our East Coast Healthcare client is seeking an experienced Manager, Financial Accounting to provide an operational backfill in a controller-type capacity for a healthcare system. This role will support day-to-day financial accounting operations and partner closely with financial operations leadership. This 19-month contract role is 100% remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support general accounting and financial accounting operations.
• Provide manager-level financial oversight, analysis, and operational support.
• Serve as a controller-type resource, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and accounting activities.
• Partner with finance and operational teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
• Support financial activities within a PeopleSoft ERP environment.

Required Qualifications

• Healthcare system or hospital experience required.
• Proven experience in general accounting and financial operations at the manager level.
• Strong operational accounting background with the ability to function in a controller-type capacity.
• Experience working with PeopleSoft ERP.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
