The Role

• Lead the development and management of product safety across complex engineering projects.
• Ensure safety is integrated throughout the project lifecycle, influencing design, build, and delivery.
• Drive hazard identification and risk assessment activities, employing techniques like FMEA, HAZOP, and FTA.
• Support the creation and delivery of robust Safety Cases and associated documentation.
• Provide expert guidance and oversight to junior engineering team members.
• Engage with diverse stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and project management.

What You'll Need

• A STEM degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience with safety analysis techniques (e.g., FMEA, HAZOP, FTA).
• Demonstrable experience in developing Safety Cases and supporting documentation.
• Experience working within a Project Safety Management System.
• A solid understanding of Systems Engineering standards within a safety context.
• Ability to interpret technical data and articulate clear, evidence-based safety arguments.
