Position Title:- Accountant
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (Onsite)
Position type: Contract
Interview Process:- In-person only

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to support financial reporting, account reconciliation, budgeting, grant accounting, and compliance with government accounting policies and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial records and reports.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Reconcile complex account discrepancies.
• Support grant reconciliation and budget preparation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance.
• Assist with accounting policies, procedures, and process improvements.
• Work with program staff and leadership on financial matters.

Requirements:

• Experience in public/government accounting.
• Strong AP/AR and account reconciliation experience.
• Knowledge of automated accounting systems.
• Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
