The Role

As anElectronics Component Engineer, you'll be thetechnical expert forelectronic components usedthroughout our products.

Working closely withEngineering, Procurementand Quality, you'llensure components aresuitable, compliant andavailablethroughout theproduct lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Reviewing Bills ofMaterials (BOMs).
  • Researching electronic componentdatasheets.
  • Supporting component selectionand approval.
  • Assessing component availabilityand lifecycle status.
  • Identifyingalternativesfor obsolete components.
  • Working with Procurementand Quality teams.
  • Investigating component-related issues.
  • Maintaining accurate technicaldocumentation.
What we'relookingfor

We're interested inhearing from experiencedElectronics Component Engineersas well asElectronics Engineers lookingto moveintoa specialist componentengineering role.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience working withelectronic components.
  • Knowledge of Billsof Materials(BOMs).
  • The ability tointerpret technical datasheets.
  • An understanding ofcomponent selection orqualification.
  • Excellent attention todetail.
  • Strong communication andproblem-solving skills.

Experience within aerospace, defence, space, medicaldevices or otherhigh-reliability electronicsindustries would bebeneficial but isn'tessential.
