Job Title: BigID Consultant / Data Privacy Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on BigID Consultant / Data Privacy Engineer to lead data privacy, discovery, classification, and remediation initiatives across enterprise environments. This role requires deep, hands-on expertise in both BigID Privacy Portal and BigID Core. You will work directly with client stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical scanning strategies and remediation workflows.

This is a high-impact contract role requiring end-to-end implementation experience—from data source configuration and policy definition to DSAR workflow automation and third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities

BigID Privacy Portal Implementation

• Configure and manage Access / Delete / Correction workflows and stage notifications

• Establish and maintain BigID Core ↔️ Privacy Portal connectivity

• Deploy and configure the BigID Me Agent

• Map MEA Roles → Privacy Portal Permissions → Permission Groups

• Design and implement consumer & employee intake forms

• Manage Privacy Portal ↔️ Core profile mapping

• Onboard new systems (consumer and employee data sources)

• Integrate with Experian, MyAccount, SAP, and Entra ID SSO

BigID Core Configuration & Management

• Establish and maintain Core-to-Privacy-Portal connectivity

• Execute individual rights scans and manual scans

• Configure correlation sets for customer and employee enrichment

• Build and manage Privacy Report Templates

• Perform data mapping by profile type (friendly names, masking/exclusion)

• Define MEA Roles → Core roles

• Create and manage scan profiles for individual rights

• Configure, update, and troubleshoot data sources

• Lead data discovery and compile comprehensive data maps

• Validate DSAR data post-upgrade and maintenance activities

• Manage Core–Entra ID SSO integration

Remediation & Compliance

• Conduct end-to-end analysis of databases to identify sensitive information (PII/PHI/PCI)

• Address remediation steps for audit findings, MAP items, and user access reviews

• Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other privacy regulations

• Analyze upstream/downstream dependencies and trace PI data sources

Integration & Technical Execution

• Integrate BigID with external applications such as Collibra, Experian, etc.

• Collaborate with multi-discipline internal and client teams for smooth rollout

• Upgrade BigID versions and configurations

• Handle vulnerability management within the BigID ecosystem
