QA Tester-Automation-Smartbear - W2

Introduction: We are seeking a Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts, executing functional and regression testing, and collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality software releases. Experience with SmartBear tools (TestComplete preferred) is highly desired.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using SmartBear TestComplete or other SmartBear automation tools.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into build and deployment processes.
• Perform manual testing when automation is not practical.
• Track defects using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar defect management systems.
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks and testing processes.
