Job Description

What you'll contribute to The Product Practice Manager is responsible for defining, developing, and continuously improving the product management practices within an Agile organisation. This role serves as a key enabler for the Domains, and product teams by fostering alignment between business strategy and product delivery through best-in-class agile product management principles. The Product Practice Manager ensures that product owners and managers are equipped with the right tools, processes, and coaching to drive customer value, be able to prioritise backlogs effectively, and facilitate seamless collaboration across teams and stakeholders. By championing Agile and product principals, this role accelerates value delivery while maintaining a consistent product vision and promoting a culture of agility and continuous improvement

How you'll make an impact

Strategic Leadership & Alignment Define, communicate, and evolve the vision and strategy for the product management practice within the organisation. Align product management standards, tools, and techniques with enterprise-wide agile transformation goals. Ensure consistency of product management practices across Domains

Practice Development & Coaching Lead the development, scaling, and continuous improvement of the product Management practice. Coach and mentor Product Managers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts Establish a Community of Practice to support knowledge sharing and skill development.

Tools, Frameworks & Methodology Standardize product management tools and templates across the organization (e.g. roadmaps, backlogs, OKRs). Collaborate with the Agile Centre of Excellence team to refine frameworks and tooling support for product practices, which improve and align visibility, traceability and prioritisation processes

Cross-functional Collaboration Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, Domain leaders, and technology teams. Promote alignment between Product teams, and stakeholders across the Domains Partner with Release Train Engineers, Solution Managers, and Architects to ensure alignment of product strategy and system architecture.

Recruitment & Succession Planning Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of the Product team. Assess competency gaps and coordinate learning opportunities or coaching plans. Develop career pathways and succession strategies for product role

Your attributes
  • Degree qualification in Business, Technology, Product Management, or a related field
  • SAFe certifications strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or business analysis roles within agile environments.
  • At least 3-5 years in a leadership or coaching capacity, ideally managing product practices or communities of practice.
  • Hands-on experience working in a scaled agile environment.
  • Proven experience implementing or maturing product management frameworks and processes at scale.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organisation.
  • Competence in product discovery, customer research, backlog management, and outcome measurement.
  • Growth mindset: committed to continuous learning and organizational evolution.
