Assistant Facilities Manager – Permanent – London – Onsite – Up to £45k + bonus
Robert Half are thrilled to be working with an exciting organisation, who are on a massive development trajectory, in their search for a permanent, proactive, hands-on Assistant Facilities Manager to join a growing workplace team and help deliver an exceptional experience across a portfolio of premium serviced office locations in London, offering up to £45,000.
This is a genuinely varied role where no two days are the same. From coordinating contractors and tackling maintenance issues to ensuring meeting rooms and communal spaces are always looking their best, you’ll be at the heart of keeping the workplace safe, professional and welcoming.
Key Details:
- Job Title : Assistant Facilities Manager
- Salary: £35k - £45k, DOE + bonus
- Location : London with regular travel to office sites (travel will be expensed)
- Working pattern : Full-time, Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 18:00, fully onsite
Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day facilities operation across multiple London locations.
- Coordinate routine and reactive maintenance, ensuring issues are resolved quickly.
- Liaise with contractors across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC services.
- Carry out site inspections and support health & safety compliance.
- Keep meeting rooms, communal areas and shared spaces looking exceptional.
- Support deliveries and respond to member and colleague requests.
- Coordinate contractors and monitor service levels.
- Assist with risk assessments, emergency procedures and safety inspections.
- Support office moves, refurbishments and workplace projects.
- Maintain accurate asset and equipment records.
- Monitor stock and ensure facilities supplies are always available.
- Proactively spot issues and find practical solutions before they escalate.
Requirements:
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- 1-2 years Facilities Management experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- This is a hands-on facilities position, so you’ll be comfortable being on your feet, carrying out site inspections, handling light lifting and coordinating contractors.
