They're looking to appoint a Senior Node.js/AWS Developer to join their platform engineering team, building cloud-native products that power AI-driven content and large-scale digital campaigns for globally recognised brands.

This is a senior position suited to someone with deep expertise across Node.js, TypeScript and AWS Serverless technologies , who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to delivery.

Full Time Permanent Role

London (Hybrid) - 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote

Salary - Up to £80,000 + Benefits

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Designing, building and delivering scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript
• Developing and maintaining REST APIs and serverless services
• Architecting AWS cloud solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, SNS, SQS and S3
• Taking projects from requirements gathering through to deployment and ongoing support
• Working closely with frontend developers, technical stakeholders and product teams
• Creating and maintaining database structures across SQL and NoSQL environments
• Supporting CI/CD processes and deployment automation
• Solving complex technical challenges and contributing to architectural decisions
• Communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Taking ownership of solutions and driving delivery with minimal supervision

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience designing and building REST APIs
• Strong AWS Serverless expertise including Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB
• Experience working with SQS, SNS, Step Functions and S3
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
• A passion for building scalable, reliable cloud-native applications
