Job Description


We are seeking a Production Support Specialist (SRE) to join our team supporting Finance Regulatory Reporting and CRR Data Sourcing/Adoption. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in production support across Informatica, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Unix-based platforms, and modern SRE practices and a proven ability to stabilize, optimize, and scale production services through automation, intelligent monitoring, and continuous improvement.


Responsibilities:



  • Lead day-to-day production operations across Informatica, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Unix-based systems.

  • Monitor and maintain health, availability, and performance using Dynatrace and Splunk.

  • Manage batch scheduling and orchestration with Autosys, Quartz, or Airflow.

  • Own incidents end-to-end including triage, root cause analysis, resolution, communication, and prevention.

  • Execute Incident, Problem, Change/Configuration, Release Readiness, Capacity/Availability Management, and Monitoring Service Analytics.

  • Create documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.

  • Proactively identify production risks and drive continuous improvement.

  • Support heterogeneous environments including Java applications, Unix shell scripting, Python, and Perl.

  • Ensure SLA compliance for uptime, performance, and response.

  • Leverage AI/ML-assisted tools to reduce manual work and increase reliability.

  • Develop metrics and operational dashboards and identify vulnerabilities.

  • Act as escalation point between business, development, and technology teams.

  • Communicate production risks, incidents, and service impacts to stakeholders.

  • Partner with business teams to align on priorities, readiness, and reporting needs.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • 4 to 10 years of production support experience in financial services, preferably in regulatory reporting.

  • Strong skills in Unix and Windows OS, SQL, Oracle, and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and Perl.

  • Working knowledge of Dynatrace and Splunk and schedulers such as Autosys, Quartz, or Airflow.

  • Expertise in incident, problem, change, and request management processes.

  • Experience with complex real-time and batch-oriented environments and data pipelines.

  • Ability to work second shift with occasional off-hours and weekend support.

  • Experience adopting automation frameworks and AI-based productivity tools.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis abilities.

  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools such as Excel or Tableau.

  • Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain technical topics to non-technical partners.

  • Self-starter with ability to lead or guide team members.


Preferred Skills:



  • Background in Finance Regulatory Reporting or CRR Data Sourcing/Adoption.

  • Experience with Java application support and Informatica administration.
