Job Title: Mass Properties Engineer III Location: Vandalia, OH Zip Code: 45377 Duration: 12 Months Pay Rate: $54.13/hr. Keyword's: #Vandaliajobs; #MassPropertiesEngineerIIIjobs. Start Date: Immediate Duties: Mass Properties Engineers at our client's site research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy and support cutting edge products & services. These cover a very wide range from state-of-the-art mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll be responsible for developing complex aerodynamic components, structures, and systems. Your technical responsibilities involve the design and development, analysis, and test of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle. *Lead the calculation and analysis of mass properties for advanced aerospace systems. *Develop and validate mass properties models and simulations. *Inventory and weigh aircraft. *Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Skills Must-haves: *Bachelor"s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. *6+ years of relevant experience. *Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience. *General knowledge of engineering principles and practices. *Exposure to Computer Aided Engineering tools. *Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams. Preferred: *Master"s degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering. *Knowledge of industry standard aerospace principles, to include, but not limited to, parametric design, model-based definition, fundamentals of flight mechanics. *Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, US Department of Defense and/or US Military. Education Must-haves: Bachelor's of Science degree in a related discipline and typically 6 more years of relevant experience. Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
