Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a Software Engineer in the storage and backup domain, you will be responsible for driving feature design and development for Data storage platforms, and protocols. You will work on initiatives that ensure our products and services can effectively communicate and operate with external systems, while maintaining high standards of performance, security, and protocol compliance.

Job Requirements
Understanding of C, C++, python; systems programming in C is highly desirable
Experience with development in LINUX/UNIX environments
Participate in product design, development, verification, troubleshooting, and delivery of a system or major subsystems
Projects, experiences, or coursework related to areas such as: Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Multi-Threading, Data Structures & Algorithms
Knowledge of Networking Protocols - TCP / IP, UDP / IP, VLAN etc. is preferable
Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers
Strong oral & written communication skills

Education

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ years related experience; A Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 0+ years related experience; or equivalent experience is required.
Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical tasks.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 113,050 - 168,300 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
