PeopleSoft Financials Consultant/Analyst

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Financials Consultant/Analyst to provide functional support for a PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 environment. The consultant will support post-upgrade activities, production support, enhancements, testing, business analysis, and ongoing development of PeopleSoft Financials and related applications.
The role will work closely with business users, functional teams, technical teams, and other consultants to resolve issues, identify requirements, improve system functionality, and support financial business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional support following a PeopleSoft Financials upgrade to PeopleSoft 9.2.
- Support production operations, enhancements, testing, and ongoing development of PeopleSoft Financials.
- Evaluate existing PeopleSoft functionality and recommend ways to improve business processes and system capabilities.
- Plan and complete dashboard initiatives, including establishing dashboard capabilities and developing module-specific dashboards.
- Work closely with business users and stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve system and process issues.
- Gather, analyze, and document new business requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams and other consultants on system enhancements and projects.
- Develop, update, and review functional documentation, including policies, procedures, operations manuals, change requests, and training materials.
- Support functional testing, issue resolution, and production implementation activities.
- Assist with additional PeopleSoft Financials modules as required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience serving as a PeopleSoft Financials Consultant/Analyst on at least one full lifecycle large-scale ERP implementation or upgrade.
- Strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2.
- Strong experience with:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Commitment Control
- Purchasing
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable/Billing (AR)
- Asset Management (AM)
- Strong business and systems analysis skills.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Ability to work directly with end users to troubleshoot problems and develop solutions.
- Strong functional documentation and communication skills.
- Experience with functional testing and production support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft Financials within a federal government environment.
- Knowledge of Entry Events and accounting transaction flows between Purchasing, Commitment Control, and General Ledger.
- Experience with PeopleSoft reporting tools such as:
- nVision
- Crystal Reports
- PS Query
- Experience with PeopleSoft security administration.
- Experience with PeopleSoft dashboards and reporting initiatives.
