This is a pivotal role with responsibility for operational performance, team leadership and stakeholder engagement, ensuring high-quality outcomes for people in custody while representing Ingeus with commissioners and prison partners.

Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, manage and inspire CIAG Advisors and Peer Mentors to deliver high-quality services and exceed contractual KPIs.

  • Hold local operational and performance management responsibility for all front-line delivery roles.

  • Coach, develop and motivate staff through regular supervision, performance reviews and development planning.

  • Maintain full compliance with Ingeus policies, procedures and contractual obligations.

Partnership Working & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the key local representative for Ingeus with commissioners and stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Governor, Head of Education, Skills & Work, and wider prison teams.

  • Develop and deliver the local partnerships strategy in line with regional and national objectives.

  • Work collaboratively with MOJ staff and prison stakeholders to enhance service delivery and outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities for service integration, innovation and best practice sharing across the region.

Whilst we welcome applications from those with lived experience, this role requires an enhanced DBS check and HMPPS EL1 vetting. Due to the time required to complete these checks, successful candidates will be offered a start date at least 6 weeks from the point of job offer. This should allow sufficient time for all necessary pre-employment clearances to be obtained
