Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional design and configuration for FPSL enhancements, including posting schemas, event types, result types, and accounting rules 

• Serve as L3 escalation path for complex incidents impacting subledger closing, reconciliation, or transfer pricing

• Conduct requirement workshops with Clients Finance and Treasury teams; translate business needs into FPSL functional specifications

• Review and approve all functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scripts produced by the offshore team

• Coordinate release planning, transport management, and system refresh activities in alignment with Client change management

• Support period-end close activities including subledger-to-GL reconciliation and error analysis

• Maintain a running enhancement backlog; prioritize with Client stakeholders and resource against the capacity

• Ensure adherence to IFRS 9 / IFRS 17 accounting rules as applicable to Client''s financial product portfolio

Required Experience

• 6+ years SAP Finance experience; minimum 3 full-cycle FPSL implementations or AMS engagements

• Deep expertise in FPSL posting schema configuration, accounting rules engine, and financial product type setup

• Hands-on experience integrating FPSL with SAP S/4HANA General Ledger and Universal Journal (ACDOCA)

• Strong knowledge of financial instruments accounting — loans, deposits, securities, or insurance contracts

• Experience supporting client-facing AMS in a structured ITIL/SLA framework

• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate technical findings for finance leadership

Preferred Qualification

• SAP S/4HANA Finance or FPSL certification

• Experience in banking, insurance, or asset management verticals

• Familiarity with SAP BTP and FPSL cloud deployment options

• Prior experience managing offshore delivery teams
