Supplier Quality Engineer

Quality isn't about ticking boxes.
It's about understanding why something failed, fixing it properly and making sure it doesn't happen again.
We're looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to work with suppliers, manufacturing and procurement to improve supplier performance, reduce risk and drive continuous improvement across a technically demanding engineering environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own supplier quality issues from investigation through to resolution.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
• Conduct supplier audits, assessments and First Article Inspections.
• Review supplier performance, identify trends and drive improvement activity.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing and procurement to resolve quality issues.
• Support supplier development and build stronger long-term partnerships.
• Ensure supplier processes meet quality, customer and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For
We're more interested in capability than ticking every box.
You'll likely have experience in:

• Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality or Quality Engineering.
• Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions (CAPA).
• Supplier audits and supplier development.
• Engineering drawings, specifications and inspection requirements.
• Machined, cast or fabricated components.
• ISO 9001 or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Working directly with suppliers to improve quality and performance.

Experience within defence or other highly regulated industries would be advantageous but isn't essential.
