Lead Technical Project Manager / Infrastructure / On-site / Manhattan, NY

One of the leading providers of best-in-class information technology services and solutions is looking for a Lead Technical Project Manager to join their New York, NY and Jersey City, NJ team!

The Lead Technical Project manager role focuses on technical projects from initiation through implementation and includes planning, funding, analysis, design, scheduling, development, implementation, and project documentation. The Lead Technical Project manager will drive and assure the delivery of all technology solutions associated with the Workplace Technology Projects. The Lead Technical Project manager partners with the Line of Business (LOB) key contacts for all projects and routinely engages with support groups within the entire organization, including Finance, Employee Platforms, and Infrastructure Platforms.

Contract Duration: One year contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization related to new construction.
  • College degree in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.
  • Project and Portfolio Management: Proven history in managing and executing projects and portfolios using ServiceNow SPM.
  • Ability to oversee project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Demand Management: Expertise in handling demand management processes with in ServiceNow, including capturing, assessing, and prioritizing incoming demands to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in MS Project and MS Visio.

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project momentum
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
  • Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
