Java Software Engineer (Cloud-Native) with Security Clearance

**Active TS/SCI w/P olygraph REQUIRED** Please do not apply if you do not currently possess this level of clearance. ---------- Telework: None Basic Requirements: * Security+ Cert * 12 years of experience in the Information Technology field * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline * 8 additional years of experience in the Information Technology field may be substituted for a degree Job Description: * Develop, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. * Review and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. * Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. * Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. * Provide Help Desk Support; ticket handling/resolution, utilizing JIRA. Required Experience: * Experience scripting with Java using Linux * Strong background with Docker using Maven * Proficiency with Git/Gitlab; knowledge and experience with CI/CD and GitOps Principles * Expereince with Helm, Kubectl, and Kubernetes Desired Experience: * Experience with Flux and Kustomize * Experience with kafka, kyverno and/or minio Salary: $190,000 - $200,000 annually ---------- Excellent benefits package including 25 days PTO, 11 paid holidays, 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees and dependents - available day 1, 8% 401(k) employer match - immediate vesting.
