Job Description:
- Developing embedded firmware for new and existing products, working from project documentation, technical specifications and design models.
- Collaborating closely with Electronics Engineers and the wider project team to ensure firmware is successfully developed, integrated, tested and validated.
- Supporting firmware debugging, verification and issue resolution throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Producing clear technical documentation to support firmware implementation, design decisions and ongoing product maintenance.
- Participating in technical reviews, contributing to continuous improvement activities and supporting the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
Firmware Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Firmware Engineer or Embedded Software Engineer position.
- Extensive experience developing embedded firmware using STM32 processors.
- Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Desirable experience with TI Sitara processors, Enterprise Architect modelling software and firmware unit testing using Tessy.
