Data Engineer

Context

The organisation is investing in a brand-new electric fleet, which brings new data sources with it. At the same time, it is evolving towards a data-driven organisation.

To support both of these strategic objectives, additional resources are needed to shape data analyses and data developments.

The Data Platform and Data Warehouse are built on Microsoft Azure. Several reporting environments are used: PowerBI, Tableau and TM1. Practical experience with PowerBI is required for this role, and notions of Tableau are a strong added value.

Job Description

Demonstrable experience as a Data Engineer, with databases, programming languages (Python, Java or Scala) for developing data flows and ETL processes, and designing/implementing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.

Language requirement: Dutch at CEFR level C2.

• Experience as Data Engineer – 8 years (Expert)

• Azure Data Factory – 3 years (Medior)

• Azure Synapse Analytics – 3 years (Medior)

• Databricks – 3 years (Medior)

• Python / Java / Scala (data flows, ETL)

• Dutch C2 (CEFR)

• Design/implementation of ETL processes

• Experience in the public transport sector

• CI/CD & Agile framework

• Database experience

• Power BI
