Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant to support a strategic HR Data Fine-Grained Access Entitlement initiative. The consultant will be responsible for translating business, risk, privacy, and regulatory requirements into data governance policies and access control requirements that can be implemented through Immuta and associated data platforms.
The ideal candidate combines strong consulting and stakeholder management skills with practical knowledge of data governance, data privacy, data entitlements, and attribute-based access control (ABAC) frameworks.
 
Required Qualifications
  • 8-12 years overall experience
  • 7+ years of consulting, business analysis, data governance, or transformation experience.
  • 2+ years of Data Governance or Data Security consulting experience
  • Prior Immuta or similar data access governance platform experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Data Governance
    • Data Privacy
    • Access Governance
    • Entitlement Management
    • RBAC and ABAC models
    • Data Classification Frameworks
  • Experience working on large enterprise data transformation programs.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience creating BRDs, functional specifications, process maps, and governance frameworks.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Immuta implementation or policy design.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Platforms, AWS, or similar environments.
  • Knowledge of employee data privacy and HR data management.
  • Familiarity with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Entra ID, Okta, or CyberArk.
  • Financial Services experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Data Governance & Entitlements
  • Lead workshops with HR, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Security, and Data stakeholders.
  • Define access governance principles and minimum-access entitlement models.
  • Develop access personas, role definitions, and entitlement matrices.
  • Identify sensitive HR data domains and classification requirements.
  • Establish governance standards for data access, usage, and monitoring.
 
Business Analysis & Process Design
  • Document current-state and future-state access management processes.
  • Define approval workflows, access review processes, and exception handling procedures.
  • Develop business requirements, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
  • Support testing strategy, UAT planning, and defect triage.
 
Stakeholder & Change Management
  • Drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Prepare executive presentations and steering committee updates.
  • Support operating model design and business readiness activities.
  • Develop adoption, communication, and training materials.
