Company and Business :


Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.



Key Responsibilities:


P2P Operations Management

  • Lead and manage the complete P2P cycle-PR creation, approvals, PO issuance, GRN, invoice processing, and payments.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines to avoid project delays, material shortages, and payment escalations.
  • Monitor operational performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvements.


2. Category Management

  • Oversee procurement and P2P activities for:
  • Construction & Project Capex
  • Indirect procurement including IT hardware, software, and services
  • Equipment, tools, and machinery
  • Raw materials, consumables, spares
  • Ensure category specific compliance, documentation, and contract adherence.


3. People & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Lead the site P2P team, ensuring capability building, performance management, and strong cross functional collaboration.
  • Partner closely with Project, Finance, Engineering, IT, Operations, Planning, and Corporate Procurement teams.
  • Manage supplier interactions related to P2P, invoicing, and payments.


4. Systems, Controls & Compliance

  • Own the effective use of ERP/Ariba/SAP and P2P tools at the site.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements, internal controls, and DoA guidelines.
  • Oversee accurate documentation for all procurement and payment processes.
  • Drive adoption of digital procurement tools and standardized processes.


5. Supplier Engagement & Issue Resolution

  • Ensure timely resolution of supplier queries related to POs, invoices, and payments.
  • Drive vendor performance improvement and ensure timely closure of open GRNs and unmatched invoices.
  • Support onboarding and training of suppliers on P2P processes and platforms.


6. Governance, Reporting & Analytics

  • Publish periodic P2P health reports-aging, GRN pendency, overdue payments, PO cycle time, compliance metrics.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting by providing visibility into procurement and payment pipelines.
  • Conduct regular governance reviews with site leadership and central procurement.


7. Continuous Improvement & Transformation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce cycle times.
  • Lead automation, digitization, and simplification initiatives.
  • Enable standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, and training for cross functional teams.


Qualifications and Experience :


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10-15+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or P2P functions.
  • Strong exposure to construction, capex, indirect, IT, and equipment/materials procurement.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and procurement platforms (Ariba preferred).
  • Proven leadership in cross functional environments and large scale operations.

Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
