Job Title: Finance Procurement Operations Business Partner

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Client: Major Entertainment Company

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Overview:
Seeking a Finance Business Partner with expertise in Procurement-to-Pay (P2P) operations, accounting, and process improvement to support Product and Engineering teams. The role focuses on optimizing finance workflows, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and collaborating across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end P2P procurement activities, including purchase orders, supplier management, contracts, invoices, and change orders.
• Support month-end close by owning accruals and analyzing financial variances.
• Ensure accurate expense coding, budget tracking, and financial reporting.
• Execute and improve automated billing integrations for high-volume supplier spend.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Accounts Payable teams to optimize procurement and payment workflows.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation initiatives.
• Provide financial support, reporting, and ad hoc analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA/CPA preferred).
• 3+ years of finance/accounting experience with general ledger knowledge.
• Strong understanding of P2P processes, purchase orders, accruals, prepaids, and CAPEX vs. OPEX.
• Experience with Workday Financials and Tableau.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions, billing integrations, and workflow optimization.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with global teams or shared service centers is preferred.
• Entertainment industry experience is a plus.
