Job Description

Role Summary
This role involves managing the end-to-end delivery of large-scale fiber optic network programs and projects, primarily focusing on fiber deployment and network expansion initiatives. The position is responsible for ensuring projects meet scope, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations while supporting successful market launches and operational readiness. It requires leadership in project planning, execution, and stakeholder communication within a fast-paced, technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple network projects and programs, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
  • Maintain an in-market presence to support project implementation, resolve issues promptly, and align with local stakeholders.
  • Lead comprehensive project management activities across planning and construction phases, including scope definition, scheduling, and risk assessment.
  • Develop and maintain detailed work plans, schedules, and project tracking metrics to monitor milestones, dependencies, costs, and performance indicators.
  • Manage project budgets, forecast expenses, and ensure timely delivery within financial constraints.
  • Conduct project status meetings and operational reviews, providing executive summaries and progress reports.
  • Identify resource requirements, project risks, and obstacles, proposing mitigation strategies and ensuring resolution within deadlines.
  • Oversee internal and external teams, including vendors and contractors, to meet quality standards and deliverables.
  • Communicate project plans, status updates, and risk management strategies to senior leadership regularly.
  • Collaborate with market and operations teams to coordinate build execution, launch activities, and milestone alignment.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of senior project or program management experience, preferably in network or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale fiber optics deployment, from planning through construction.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong risk mitigation, issue resolution, and resource management skills.
  • Financial acumen related to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels and producing executive-ready updates.
  • In-market presence to support field activities and stakeholder alignment as needed.
  • Knowledge of utility permitting, right-of-way coordination, and construction sequencing (preferred).
  • Familiarity with data management, business analytics, and performance reporting tools such as Power BI (preferred).

Publishing Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
