2bTanned is scaling fast, and we’re pushing hard for global growth.

We’re looking for a sharp, high-energy Head of E-Commerce to take full ownership of our digital sales channels, performance marketing direction and online marketplace strategy.

Forget corporate red tape and slow-moving hierarchies. We operate in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial and down-to-earth environment where high vibes meet serious commercial drive.

Reporting directly to the Founders, you’ll manage and guide our dedicated in-house creative and marketing team from day one.

You’ll lead the charge on scaling our direct-to-consumer and marketplace revenue, improving the customer journey and steering our paid media strategy for maximum efficiency.

𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦

• 𝗗𝗧𝗖 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: Take full ownership of our Shopify store, Amazon Seller Central and expanding multi-channel marketplace network.

• 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Manage and optimise product listings, pricing, conversion rates, promotions and the overall customer journey.

• 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆: Lead our customer acquisition strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat.

• 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: Create and present campaign strategies, growth plans and budget proposals directly to the Founders.

• 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: Manage and brief our in-house social media and marketing specialists.

• 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Provide clear direction on the advertising creative, content and assets required to support paid campaigns and promotional calendars.

• 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Monitor website traffic, acquisition performance and back-end data using GA4 and Shopify Analytics.

• 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀: Present clear and actionable monthly performance reports to the Directors.

• 𝗖𝗥𝗠 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Drive customer retention, lifetime value and repeat purchases through email and SMS campaigns using platforms such as Klaviyo.

• 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Embrace AI integrations, automation and emerging technology to streamline operations and scale the business efficiently.

𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗪𝗘’𝗥𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥

• 𝗘-𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: A minimum of two years’ hands-on e-commerce experience, with three or more years preferred.

• 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀: A successful track record of managing and growing e-commerce channels across DTC websites or major online marketplaces.

• 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱: Previous experience working for a beauty, cosmetics, skincare, tanning, fashion, wellness or online retail brand would be advantageous.

• 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Strong experience using Shopify, Amazon Seller Central and Klaviyo.

• 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴: Good knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads and Snapchat Ads.

• 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀: Familiarity with marketplace platforms or aggregators such as Mirakl would be a strong advantage.

• 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀-𝗼𝗻: The ability to create high-level growth strategies while remaining involved in daily execution.

• 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁: Strong commercial awareness with a clear focus on revenue, profitability and measurable results.

• 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate, brief and direct a creative marketing team.

• 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: A passion for staying ahead of e-commerce trends, algorithm changes, automation and emerging AI tools.

𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

This position is based at our office in Wishaw, Scotland.

Applicants must live within a reasonable daily commuting distance.

This is a fully office-based, in-person position and is not available as a hybrid or remote role.
