The Role • Become proficient in automation solutions and offerings, including system designs, single-line drawings, and site layouts. • Technically review and understand customer requirements for proposals, including performance and availability guarantees. • Collaborate with other divisions to develop cross-business automation solutions. • Analyze market conditions and trends to drive current and future automation solution offerings. • Contribute to new and existing product specifications, acting as a key technical resource for sales teams. • Prepare detailed, accurate, and cost-competitive proposals, focusing on 90% core responsibilities. What You'll Need • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline. • 4+ years of experience in electrical equipment estimating or a related field. • Ability to review and interpret client specifications, drawings, and data sheets with strong analytical skills. • Basic understanding in at least two of the following: Networking and Cybersecurity, RTUs/HMIs/SCADA Systems, Protective Relay programming, or PLC applications for Switchgear. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle is a plus. • Excellent customer relations, verbal, and written communication skills.
