We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to play a pivotal role in an upcoming, significant merger and acquisition (M&A) event. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact the successful integration of talent, ensuring a seamless transition that underpins business continuity and growth. You will be instrumental in managing critical contingent workforce operations, contributing directly to the strategic success of this transformative period. This highly operational role demands exceptional attention to detail, robust data management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various business functions.

What You’ll Do

  • Gather and validate essential data for contingent workers transitioning from acquired entities.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate data trackers to ensure data integrity.
  • Provide crucial support for due diligence activities and efficiently respond to data requests.
  • Coordinate closely with the Contingent Lead and external suppliers to confirm worker status and classification.
  • Assist in the migration of workers into the human resources information system (HRIS) or vendor management system (VMS).
  • Execute a range of administrative tasks, including updating worker records, monitoring compliance documentation, and tracking renewal dates.
  • Deliver high-touch, customized support for sensitive or critical workforce issues, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with managed service providers (MSPs) to ensure compliant setup of transitioning workers.
  • Coordinate and facilitate orientations for contingent workers.
  • Prepare weekly status reports, summaries, and issue logs for leadership.
  • Help review worker classifications, tenure, and market rate data to ensure fairness and compliance.
  • Identify potential compliance gaps and escalate risks promptly to the Contingent Lead.
  • Assist with reviewing current supplier setups and facilitating transitions to new suppliers or migration to an MSP.
  • Help coordinate background checks in line with company policy.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Solid experience in contingent operations, managed service provider (MSP)/vendor management system (VMS) environments, or supplier management.
  • Strong understanding of contingent workforce compliance and workforce classification.
  • Excellent data management and reconciliation skills, particularly with Excel.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience supporting M&A or other large-scale organizational transition projects.
