This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane, with flexibility and collaboration across states.
About the role- Translate the Water Digital Engineering Strategy into actionable plans and deliver outcomes in partnership with the digital/drafting team.
- Identify projects and programs to embed digital engineering practices and lead implementation through to completion.
- Act as a power user-champion the strategy through working groups, technical briefings, and knowledge sharing sessions.
- Build capability by mentoring drafting staff and delivering training programmes (classroom and on the job).
- Support technical excellence in BIM compliant modelling, interdisciplinary coordination, and digital workflows.
- Experience in planning and implementing change management and strategic objectives.
- Advanced skills in digital drafting, detailing, and design software.
- Strong understanding of Digital Engineering/BIM software, including interdisciplinary coordination; water industry experience preferred.
- Exposure to 4D/5D modelling and Civil 3D highly regarded.
- Ability to manage internal and external client relationships and expectations.
- Experience in resource coordination and project delivery.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
