Geotechnical Engineer Reference: BY(phone number removed) Location: Sheffield Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 This geotechnical and environmental consultancy based in Sheffield are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join their team on a variety of exciting geo-environmental/ground investigation projects. The opportunity provides excellent career progression opportunities, allowing you to take a new step in your career towards increased responsibility, support to chartership and varied and exciting projects. The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered: A competitive salary (£28,000 - £34,000, depending on experience).

Opportunities for career progression.The Geotechnical Engineer role will entail a wide range of responsibilities day to day. You'll be carrying out site walkovers and ground investigations, contributing to factual and interpretive report writing, Phase 1 desktop studies, soil and rock logging, training more junior members of the team and liaising with clients. To be considered for the ground investigation position you should have Geotechnical Engineering experience, with an understanding on geo-environmental principles. You should have a degree in applied geology, geography, environmental science or a similar relevant subject. You must live commutable to Sheffield, hold a full UK Driving licence and have a full right to work in the UK.
