Full Stack Developer - TSSCI w/ Poly with Security Clearance

POSITION IS REMOTE: - onsite visits a couple times a quarter Job Title: Backend Data Platform Engineer Job Description: We're seeking a Backend Data Platform Engineer to develop and maintain scalable backend services that power modern data platforms. This role will build APIs, data integrations, and distributed services while collaborating with engineering, analytics, and product teams to deliver reliable, high-performance data solutions.

Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of backend software engineering experience
Strong Python development skills
Experience building production APIs, backend systems, or distributed services
Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch
Experience with AWS services, especially S3 and RDS
Strong understanding of testing, CI/CD, version control, and software design principles
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, or large-scale data processing systems
GitLab and GitLab CI experience
OpenShift, Helm, Docker, and containerization experience
DoD 8570 IAT II certification eligibility (Security+, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, etc.)
