Job Description

Site Services Technician | Ashby de la Zouch, United Kingdom | On-site This employer is a leading manufacturer of popular snacks, with a strong presence across the UK and part of a larger European family. They are seeking a dedicated individual to join their engineering team and contribute to the safe and efficient operation of their site. The Role • Completing statutory servicing and inspections, ensuring accurate and audit-ready documentation. • Supporting electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs, diagnosing issues and performing safe, effective work. • Maintaining essential site services equipment, including boilers, compressors, effluent plants, and safety systems. • Carrying out general building and site maintenance, including basic joinery, plumbing, and installations. • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department and contributing to system enhancements. What You'll Need • An 18th Edition qualification (BS7671) is essential. • A recognised electrical background, ideally with an apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications (e.g., C&G Level 3 BS2365, BS2391). • A flexible, proactive approach with the ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and work effectively under pressure. • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. • Basic IT and data recording skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and accurate logging for audits.
