Electrical Engineer
Reference: Jo7256/JB
Location: Warrington
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 + Pension + Bonus + Healthcare
Days Based Role – Monday to Friday – 8am to 4pm
The Company
My client is the worlds’ largest processor/manufacturer within its field of metal processing and associated aluminium based products, last year processing over 40 billion units. The company is a well established producer to the global markets, having plants in the UK, Europe, Asia and America. The UK site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.

- Minimum HNC Electrical Engineering
- CAPEX Project Experience
- Understanding of PLC, HMI & Instrumentation
The Role
- Support the Site Engineers to deliver the maintenance plan for the site.
- Preventive Maintenance of all Electrical & Automation Control systems.
- Duty Holder for site Electrical distribution system, ensure legal compliance with maintenance of Fixed Electrical assets, High & Low Voltage
- Obsolescence: Identifying aging assets planning upgrades based on OEM life Cycle (PLC, HMI, Controls & Instrumentation)
- Ensure correct use and feedback through SAP to create history and working knowledge of the process.
- Good project management skills with experience of Management of Contractors.
- Develop forward plans to improve the process availability and deliver reliability to a greater proactive and forward focused state. Utilising tools such as RCA, Pareto, FMEA etc.
- Control & delivery of 'Shutdown' maintenance plans & on time Execution.
- Experience of Root Cause Analysis and selecting strong countermeasures to prevent re-occurrence of issues.
