You'll spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their flow control needs, while providing solutions/services to meet those needs.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the management of new and existing customer relationships by providing solutions, managing customer expectations and effectively solving customer problems, issues and concerns.
- Managing complex process projects,
- Prepare quotes on new and existing customer requirements.
- Sizing, selecting and specifying valves, actuators, accessories, instrumentation and related process equipment.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding company-related products and services.
- Fill orders to customer specifications.
- Provide follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Create incremental selling opportunities.
- Provide world-class customer service and technical assistance to customers and Inside/Outside Account Managers.
We seek:
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Industrial Distribution, Engineering & Management, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering; equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
- Proven experience in an Application Engineer /Inside Technical Sales role with an Industrial Distributor required.
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude that identifies smart, creative methods to complete complex tasks with minimal effort.
- Previous experience with Process Flow Control equipment required; Process valves, actuators, accessories, and instrumentation strongly desired.
- Able to tackle multiple projects while being organized, detail, and deadline oriented.
- Ability to relate to all levels of employees within the organization, as well as people customers & vendors.
