Field Service Engineer

Field Technician - vacuum furnaces

Industry leading OEM for the the heat treat industry hiring field service techs for 50% travel / 50% in-house equipment builds, maintenance, and installs.

Job Duties:

• Troubleshooting equipment onsite.
• Building and fabricating furnaces for pre-installation.
• Electro-mechanical maintenance and repair.
• Commissioning of equipment at customer plants.

Requirements:

• Preferred 2-year technical degree or equivalent technical military training or demonstrated job related knowledge.
• Minimum of 2 years of field service experience in mechanical, machinery, or electrical repair service and/or installation field.
• Working knowledge of industrial control systems and PLCs.
• Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills with ability to problem solve effectively.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to make good judgement decisions.
• Ability to maintain good attendance.
• Preferred experience or familiarity with RS Logix or other PLC software
• Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
