Role: Network Platform Software Development- Technical Lead

Requirement: Exp 10 to 15 years

Duratio: long term

Location: Bay Area, CA

Work: Hybrid, 3 days’ work from office

Job Description:

Customer is looking for engineers with data-path / packet-forwarding expertise, particularly around Marvell and Broadcom chipsets.

•       Marvell expertise is a key priority, while Broadcom experience would also be valuable. •

•       The requirement involves:

o  Data-path solutions

o  Forwarding technologies  

o  Linux internalsChipset-level / platform-level development

o  Networking and switching technologies

DPDK, Tofino and other technologies mentioned in the JD are largely generic/boilerplate requirements. The critical differentiator is actual Marvell/Broadcom experience.

•       Customer is looking for technically strong engineers and is very selective on candidate quality. The requirement is not simply about fulfilling a specific headcount.

o   Experience requirement is primarily 8+ years, with a typical preference for 10-15 years, although strong candidates at other levels may also be considered.

•       Customer currently has 3-4 potential engineering positions, subject to internal approval for external hiring. They will start with 1 position for now though
