What You’ll Do

You will lead the creation of an enterprise platform that converts old legacy systems (Mainframe, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, flat files) into modern, secure REST/JSON APIs, cloud services, and event-driven data streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy: Define the product vision, roadmap, MVP, feature priorities, and success metrics.
• Legacy Data Modernization: Guide teams on how to automatically read and transform old file formats and mainframe databases into modern data models.
• API Development: Define features for generating REST APIs, OpenAPI specs, API security, versioning, gateway integrations, and Kafka event streaming.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with enterprise architects, mainframe specialists, cloud engineers, security teams, and executives.

What Makes You a Fit

• Strong track record as an Enterprise Product Manager in financial services or similar industries.
• Deep comfort level with technical concepts—able to talk COBOL copybooks with mainframe engineers, API designs with developers, and business ROI with C-level executives.
