Job Summary
The Security Architect – AI Cybersecurity Threat Monitoring is responsible for designing and implementing security architectures that use AI/ML technologies to detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats. The role focuses on threat monitoring, security analytics, AI-driven detection, and integration of security tools across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-driven cybersecurity threat monitoring solutions.
- Develop security architecture for threat detection, monitoring, and response.
- Use AI/ML techniques to identify unusual activity, anomalies, and potential threats.
- Integrate AI-based security solutions with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and other security platforms.
- Define security monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategies.
- Analyze security events and improve detection rules and threat models.
- Establish security controls for AI systems, applications, APIs, and data.
- Work with SOC and incident response teams to investigate and remediate threats.
- Evaluate emerging AI cybersecurity tools and technologies.
- Ensure security solutions comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop security architecture diagrams, standards, policies, and technical documentation.
- Conduct security assessments and recommend improvements to the overall security posture.
- Support automation of threat detection and response processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence, and security monitoring.
- Experience with cloud and enterprise security architectures.
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their application in cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of network, endpoint, application, and identity security.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and Zero Trust.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, CrowdStrike, or similar platforms.
- Experience developing AI/ML-based threat detection or anomaly detection solutions.
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, or other scripting/programming languages.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud security.
- Knowledge of AI security risks, including prompt injection, model manipulation, data leakage, and AI governance.
- Familiarity with SOAR automation and security orchestration.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, or cloud security certifications.
