We are seeking an experienced ESP32-C3 Firmware Developer to design firmware and support PCB development for an embedded IoT device. The project involves developing firmware for the ESP32-C3-MINI-2U microcontroller to enable Wi-Fi connectivity and transmit email/SMS notifications through an internet-connected router.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop firmware for ESP32-C3-MINI-2U using ESP-IDF
• Implement Wi-Fi Station & Access Point modes with web-based configuration
• Support email/SMS notification functionality via SMTP
• Optimize low-power operation using Deep Sleep mode
• Interface with a PIC16F1503 microcontroller via GPIO
• Design a 4-layer PCB compatible with an existing enclosure
• Store Wi-Fi credentials using EEPROM/NVS
• Participate in weekly status meetings via Microsoft Teams or Zoom

Required Skills

• Strong experience with ESP32-C3 / ESP-IDF
• Embedded C/C++ firmware development
• Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, and networking protocols
• Low-power embedded system design (Deep Sleep)
• GPIO, EEPROM/NVS, and peripheral interfacing
• PCB design experience (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar)
• Experience with IoT and hardware integration
